Leeanna Nguyen, O.D.

Dr. Nguyen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Sacramento State University and graduated with honors from the New England College of Optometry in 2005. Clinical externships included the New England Eye Institute, Fresno VA Medical Center, Cedar Sinai Hospital, and Spaulding Rehab Center – a Harvard affiliate, in which she trained in the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic brain injury and the eye.

Dr. Nguyen is board-certified by the National Board of Optometry in the treatment and management of ocular diseases and in therapeutic pharmaceutical agents (TPA). She has also been certified by Paragon Vision Sciences in Corneal Refractive Therapy. Her areas of specialty include contact lenses, primary eye care, pediatric optometry, and preoperative evaluation and postoperative care of surgical patients.

Dr. Nguyen is fluent in both Vietnamese and English and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.

When Dr. Nguyen is not practicing optometry, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She also enjoys traveling and is an amateur photographer.
